Are you obsessed with Twilight? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. On November 20th, vamp fans will flock to theaters to see the much-anticipated sequel to the Twilight Saga, New Moon. And American Cheerleader was lucky enough to catch up with one of the flick’sundead stars to get the inside scoop on our fave fanged family. Read on for an exclusive interview (questions provided by you) with Ashley Green, who plays Alice Cullen in the series.

Q: What was your favorite thing about cheer? —Heather M.
Ashley Greene: I loved stunting. I was a [top girl] on my coed teams, but I also back-spotted and based. I was on an open team for a minute, which was incredible. I’ve looked for gyms where I could stunt at out here, but there aren’t really any in L.A.
Q: What’s going to happen in New Moon? —Jamie S.
Ashley: It’s a little darker and there’s more angst and depression in this movie. But we’ve also packed in some action, because now the Volturi come into the story. There is a really cool fight scene—you’ll love it!

Q: Did you like the car you drove in the movie, and how fast did you go? —Heidi M.
Ashley: I got to drive the 911 Porsche , which was incredible. It’s not even a car, it’s more like a beautiful piece of machinery. I couldn’t drive too fast, because we were in this really confined area, basically like a cobblestone walkway, and there were extras I had to dodge. People said I went faster than the stunt guys, though.
Q: What’s the craziest thing a Twilight fan has done to see the cast? —Tammy W.
Ashley: A lot of them fly in from Australia or Europe! People will travel from all over the world to stay at the same hotel as us. They’ve camped out when we had night shoots from 7 pm to 7 am—in the freezing rain! It’s nuts.
Q: Is there anything you’re obsessed with like the way fans are with your movies? —Abigail V.
Ashley: I was talking to my mom about this, and I don’t remember being that passionate about anything. I think at one point cheerleading was probably it—I was extremely passionate about cheer. Now my obsession is obviously acting.
Q: How has your life changed since Twilight came out? —Dee L.
Ashley: It’s changed significantly. Nothing’s really the same except for my friends and my family. I can’t do anything without people knowing about it. I went to a fitting today, and paparazzi followed me from my house to the fitting and back to my house. I got Wendy’s, and I’m sure it’ll be on the internet tonight or tomorrow. On a professional level, it’s been positive because I can decide what projects I want to do. It’s nice to be able to call a few of the shots.
