This pyramid sequence is legal for USASF Levels 3 and up.
1. LOAD: On counts 5, 6, 7, 8, the stunt group sets into a load position for a single-leg stunt.
2. TORCH SCALE: On counts 1, 2, the group goes up to a Torch and hits a Scale on 5, 6. Note: The left side base has her left hand on the front of the top girl’s leg for extra balance and support.
3. LIB POST: On counts 1, 2, the group dips and pops on 3, 4, up into a Liberty in a Post position. NOTE: The left base uses her left hand to pop and then moves it under the top girl’s foot.
4. SCORPION: On counts 5, 6, 7, 8, the top girl pulls into a Scorpion.

5. SPONGE: On counts 1, 2, the group dips, pops and brings the top girl down to a Sponge position.

6. LEFT STRETCH: Bouncing on counts 3, 4, 5, 6, the group goes back up into a left leg Heel Stretch.
7. BOW & ARROW: The top girl then pulls a Bow-N-Arrow on count 5.

on step nine, i’m not judging, but the cheerleader on the left need to not bend her knees because they might go out from underneath her and hurt more than herself. don’t get me wrong. i’ve learned the hard way! no worries:) no one but me got hurt:) first year. haha! but this is a waaay cool stunt! my stunt group and i tried and it looked AMAZING!!

Wow…thats awesome! My squad would totally love doing that!

Jasmine – I understand you gettin hurt and your constructive critism, BUT… the left base is only bending her legs because her arms are longer than the base on the right. If she had fully stood up the top girls feet would have been uneven and that could cause the stunt to fail and the top firl to fall.
I am a base and I’m the shortest on my squad, so most of the other bases have to bend their legs a little bit so our arm’s reach is the same height, because, like I said before, if we were uneven then the top girl is uneven and she could fall.

To Jasmine, i would agree with you about that but i have to do that 2. And no i have never got hurt and well i am one of the tall pple on my squad and so i have to do the same thing. We go to competion all the time and never get points takin off from it. So i have to dissagree with u so ya…
My squad rocked at this!!!!! (im a base and flyer)

Some of the stunt groups on my team do that . But my stunt group doesn’t do that though .but when we pop her to do a cradle we pop her so hight I mean really high. Also nice scorpian

I somewhat agree with jasmine on this, it would be easy for the base’s knees to give out. I’m a base/flyer and what we do on our squad is spread our legs so we do not bend. that way it’s completely safe, and we look good too!!
go cubs!!
