Team USA is announced!

March 4th, 2010 by Kathleen Hager – Comments (2)

We’ve all been revved up on USA pride for the last couple weeks, so why stop now? USA Cheer announced the Coed and All-Girl teams that will be competing on behalf of the USA at the International Cheer Union (ICU) World Championship in Orlando, FL, on April 25 and 26.

Last year, the U.S. cheer teams cleaned up, earning the gold in every division in which they competed. Considering Team USA comprises the best of the best, I have total confidence in them and know they’ll do awesome again this year! (But I’m really excited to see Bangkok up close for the first time, too!) Check out the teams’ rosters below, and stay tuned for ICU coverage at the end of April. Go USA!

About Kathleen Hager
I grew up a small town girl with a big personality. Born and raised in Jim Thorpe, PA (you’ve never heard of it because it’s that tiny), I was always super outgoing and made (and still make) a lot of noise with my big mouth, which made cheerleading the logical love of my life. Jumping up and down yelling on a football field in front of lots of people—perfect. Maybe that’s what cheerleading felt like at 7 years old, but throughout junior high and high school, it became what taught me how to challenge myself, where I met my best friends and where I genuinely felt talented and special. After earning a journalism degree at Temple University and eventually making the big move from Philly to NYC, I’ve gotten a chance to open a new cheer chapter in my life with AC!

If you’ve never seen Team USA in action, it’s something you have to check out! Last year’s ICU World Championships were an amazing experience. I’m with you, Kathleen–I can’t wait for April!

Brrr! It's cold out there! It's also very dry in the air, and dryness can suck up moisture, leaving your skin flaky, itchy and tight. Don't worry, though--- Atopalm's Moisturizing Body Lotion is the perfect remedy for a cold, dry winter blast!
