Fun Fact: This stunning actress loves to write. She even plans to pursue screenwriting in the future as a side project.

AC: What’s your favorite workout routine right now?

Megan Park: I like doing anything outside. Hiking, swimming.

AC: What would you say your guilty pleasure is?

MP: Chips. I could give up candy, chocolate and cupcakes, but I could never give up potato chips. It’s my vice.

AC: How’d you get involved in the industry?

MP: I started doing local theater in Canada (where I’m from) when I was seven. Then I got an agent when I was about sixteen and started doing commercials and local comedian shows. Then I came out to L.A. to do an acting class. I’d been there a week when they sent me a script and I ended up a screen test got the part.

AC: What was it about “The Secret Life of the American Cheerleader” that you really connected with?

MP: Well I only got to read the pilot, which was interesting because you never really know what you’re getting into, but the pilot was so edgy. I could picture someone from my high school in every single one of the characters and it was really shocking and raw. I was like, “Wow, I think kids are really gonna like this, people are really going to be interested in watching this.”

AC: Did you originally read for the role of Grace?

MP: I actually tried out for Amy first, but when I read the script I felt more like Grace. Everyone else thought I’d be better as Grace, too. The people I read for told me my audition was great, but asked if I could come in the next day and read for Grace. So I went back in and it just fit perfectly.

AC: Grace started out as a cheerleader. Did you ever want to be a cheerleader in real life?

MP: I did, but we never had a cheerleading squad in my school, but I had some friends who did cheerleading outside of school and they were amazing. It’s such an athletic sport and it’s so amazing to watch. I always wished that I had done it, but because there was never a team at school I didn’t do it.

AC:What do you like most about your character, Grace?

MP: There’s a lot of similarities between me and her. I think Grace sometimes feels a lot of pressure to be something that she isn’t sure if she is that person, and I can definitely relate to that.

AC: Where would you like to see her storyline go?

MP: I’d like to see her get back together with Jack. First of all, I love Greg Finley. I love working with him and we have a lot of fun on set. I just think that they’re meant to be with each other, so I’d like to see them end up together.

AC: Who would you like to see guest star on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”?

MP: Amy Poehler. I’d want her to come on and play my crazy aunt.

AC: We heard you’re in an upcoming movie with Miley Cyrus.

MP: Yeah, it’s called So Undercover. We shot it in New Orleans and it was a lot of fun. A bunch of us girls stayed together in a hotel down there, and it was like we had our own sorority.

AC: You’re also Lucy Hale’s evil stepsister in Another Cinderella Story. Did you have fun playing someone so different from Grace?

MP: Yeah, it was great! I saw a couple of scenes the other day, and I’m so mean in it. I was shocked watching myself and was like “Oh my gosh!”

AC: If you could give your fans any advice what would it be?

MP: I guess I’d tell them to keep taking chances, because you never know where it’s going to take you.
