AC’s All Access with Allison Terrell
Hey guys! My name is Allison and I am an upcoming senior at the University of Alabama majoring in public relations. As if graduation and an awesome football season weren’t exciting enough, I have even more incredible experiences in store! As a third-year returning member of Alabama’s All Girl cheerleading team, I am thrilled that this year we will be able to compete at UCA College Nationals for the first time!
Our coaches revealed the news to us only a few days before camp and after some screams and tears, we immediately came together as a team and became more focused and determined than ever before. Our hard work paid off at camp when we placed first in the Fight Song competition and received first place overall in our Game Day competition. But what meant the most to me was winning the Leadership Award, which is voted on by other teams at camp. That let me know that not only had we accomplished a lot physically, but that we upheld the tradition and class of the University of Alabama and gained respect from other programs.
I am so proud of my team and I cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish this year! I will be stopping by AmericanCheerleader.com to update you guys on our journey through football season and practices as we prepare to represent the University of Alabama’s All Girl team on the sidelines and in Orlando! Until next time, ROLL TIDE!
