You could model for AC!

posted by Brittany Geragotelis on Wednesday, Dec 19

We get asked all the time whether all the people who appear in American Cheerleader are actually real cheerleaders, and for the most part, the answer is YES. Because this is a magazine all about athletes just like you, it makes sense that the people we would feature in the mag would look like you: athletic, strong, muscular, healthy, happy and outgoing!

The other question we get just as often is, "How can I be in the magazine?!" Here's your chance! American Cheerleader is always on the lookout for awesome, talented and photogenic athletes to feature in the magazine....but we're currently on the lookout for local cheerleaders who would be available for a fashion shoot scheduled to take place in New York City on or around January 10th, 2008. We are looking for energetic, outgoing and very photogenic girls between the age of 15-21 who would be able to spend the day with the AC staff and model various uniforms.

If you're a current cheerleader who's always wanted to be a model, has modeled before or are simply a ham in front of the camera we want to hear from you!

Send us an e-mail including as many photos of yourself as possible (preferably close-up and with little to no makeup), in your uniform or in regular street clothes. Also be sure to include the following: Name, squad/team name, age, address, phone number and e-mail address. Send all e-mails to: Brittany@americancheerleader.com , subject line: I want to be a model!

We're looking forward to hearing from you!
