Get your head in the game...

I have to admit…I love a good mystery. I adore that feeling you get while watching a movie, where you recognize a clue and suddenly the pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly and you just know whodunit. That’s why it’s no surprise that I was a fan of the board game Clue (It was Colonel Mustard, in the den, with the wrench, in case you didn’t know), was crazy about the detective show, “Veronica Mars” and spent hours reading the Choose Your Own Adventure books growing up.

So, if you’re like me and love a challenge, the new web TV game DELETED: THE GAME might be right up your alley.

DELETED: THE GAME is a new web-based TV show/game that blurs the lines of reality and fantasy, essentially allowing the viewer to become a part of the show. To get inside the DELETED-world, viewers first register on the website www.deletedthegame.com, creating a player profile. On August 15th, the first episode will air, introducing the characters and essentially what will become the overall mystery of the show. After every episode that airs (there will be a new one each week), players will be prompted online with tasks, questions and riddles that will allow them to delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding the show. Each episode will contain clues that will help you along in the game, your goal being to land a spot within the characters’ inner circle. And if solving each episodes mysteries isn’t enough of a draw, your participation will earn you points that can result in winning prizes like a paid trip to meet the cast and iPods.

So, check out the trailer here, create a profile and then log on August 15th to watch the first episode—and get ready to channel your inner Nancy Drew.
