Last night, the editors and I had a real OMG moment—we met Paula Abdul at an NYC restaurant to dish about all things cheer. Let me just tell you: She is AMAZING. You know how on "American Idol" she just seems too kind to be true? She actually is that kind, and sitting next to her (I was pinching myself the whole time!), we editors couldn't help but be swept up in her positive aura.

This woman is just like all of us—cheerleading is such a huge part of her life. She actually said to us, "The root of all my success is cheerleading." Wow. Paula has so many exciting things coming up, and we promise to give you the whole scoop in upcoming issue of American Cheerleader. For now, I'll give you this little teaser: Paula wants to see your cheer routines!
